What is the T(OUR) City Challenge?
T(OUR) City Challenge events are socially distant outdoor events designed for BBBS matches to come together for a fun day of problem solving and relationship building. Not only will matches have the opportunity to explore iconic locations across the Twin Cities, but they’ll also have exciting challenges to complete and prizes to earn!
Join BBBS for an self-lead tour around beautiful Lake Bde Maka Ska! This tour will provide the perfect mix of urban excitement and natural tranquility. Enjoy plenty of stops along the way and participate in activities focusing on outdoor recreation and physical engagement. Each match will receive a challenge kit and work at their own pace as they explore the lake and complete a variety of tasks and puzzles.
Parking
The lot closest to the event check-in tent is located off of W Bde Maka Ska Blvd and Excelsior Blvd. The location can be found here with Apple Maps, or use the address 3033 W Lake St. Minneapolis, MN 55416 – Lake Calhoun Center – to find the parking lot. See picture below.
Check-In Tent
BBBS will have a large check in table located just off the parking lot above, on the lake side of W Bde Maka Ska Pkwy. See image below. Make sure to check in at the tent before you start your lake tour to pick up your challenge kit and a receive coupon redeemable for free gelato!
Waiver
To participate in the slackline portion of the event, Bigs and Littles will need to fill out a waiver. It can be printed, or signed electronically.
