It’s time for another “Try it Together Tuesday,” where we share new ideas on ways to interact with your Little! Check back with us every week to discover engaging ways to keep your Match connected virtually or in person.

Storytelling with the Minnesota African American Heritage Museum and Gallery

Founded in 2018, the Minnesota African American Heritage Museum and Gallery’s purpose is to preserve records and highlight the achievements, contributions and experiences of African Americans in Minnesota. Visit the Museum to experience walk-through exhibits, workshops and events that educate and inform the public about the history, culture, and art of African Americans in Minnesota.

Every month, a MAAHMG hosts a special virtual storytelling as a part of their Children’s Reading Circle. Sit down and cozy up with March’s reader, Carmelle Abron, and learn about different types of homes and families.

Did you know that MAAHMG is free and open to public tours every Saturday? You can schedule a visit and reserve free tickets online.
