There are so many ways to get involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters. From our elegant annual gala to laid-back Lunch & Learn recruiting presentations in workplaces all across the Twin Cities — Big Brothers Big Sisters public events are so much fun, and open to everyone.
More For Matches
Every month we host an array of activities so Littles and their Bigs have lots of ways to spend time together. They can have fun, learn new things, see a show, visit a college campus and so much more — or plan their own activities tailored to their schedules and interests!
If you’re currently matched and interested in events like these, get more info on events here. If you are interested in becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister—and we hope you are!—please visit our Volunteer page.
Here’s a handful of match events we recently hosted in just one month—and they are all FREE for matches to attend! More details on upcoming events for existing Bigs can be found here.

“It’s nice, because you have someone to talk to when you need to,” Little Brother Eli
That’s a change from Eli’s shyness in the early days of their match. Big Brother Karl remembers driving around quietly until eventually 10-year old Eli would pipe up from the backseat with whatever was on his mind that day, usually Legos or Pokémon. Today, Karl and 16-year-old Eli talk about guitar and marriage equality and Eli’s big plans for when he goes away to college, and everything in between.
