College & Career Readiness

Where will the future take you?

Your teen years will involve a significant amount of personal growth and exploration.  Our college and career readiness resources will have you developing and reflecting on your interests and goals, leading you to a pathway of understanding what your future holds.

Our resources encourage you to think broadly, reflect on your interests, understand your values, and recognize your strengths to help you set goals for yourself. Use the following questions to guide you in conversations about these topics:

  • What do you like to do in your free time? When you are not busy with homework, what do you find yourself enjoying to stay busy?
  • Which classes do you enjoy the most, and which are your least favorite? Why? School and the classes you take are a great way to understand what subjects hold your interest.
  • What do you value? List five things you value.
  • What are your strengths? List five positive qualities about yourself.
  • What are your goals? Think about both short- and long-term goals.
