We’re partnering with Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board to provide our matches with a chance to explore the JD Rivers’ Children’s Garden, with a focus on learning about gardening, harvesting produce, and garden-to-table healthy eats. All are welcome, prior knowledge of gardening is not necessary!
What is the T(OUR) City Challenge?
T(OUR) City Challenge events are designed for BBBS matches to come together for a fun day of problem-solving and relationship-building. Not only will matches have the opportunity to explore iconic locations across the Twin Cities, but they’ll also have exciting challenges to complete and prizes to earn!
Admission
Admission to JD Rivers’ Children’s Garden is free.
Parking
Street parking is available along the south side of Glenwood Avenue or at the canoe launch parking lot (about a 5-minute walk to the garden).
