The Big Social Brunch

January is National Mentoring Month, and Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities is back with The Big Recruit. We’re on a mission to recruit 230 new Bigs in just one month!

Join us for The Big Social (Brunch Edition) on Sun January 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM! Along with yummy brunch food, this is a great chance to get to know more about youth mentoring, network and build community with current Bigs. Share stories, exchange ideas, and discover ways to #BeBig with other like-minded individuals. Start the new year in community with us!

This brunch is more than a social, it’s a moment to build relationships, deepen your “why,” and discover new ways to amplify the power and potential of youth across the Twin Cities.

Agenda:

• 11am – Network + Enjoy Brunch Buffet
• 11:45am – Bigs Panel (Q/A session with current and future Bigs)
• 12:15pm – Tour of BBBS office + Ways to #BeBig
• 12:30pm – Event ends

BIGS: Bring a friend, or two or three who are also interested in becoming a Big.

• What have you found rewarding about being a Big?
• What have you been most surprised with in your mentorship experience?
• What is something you would have liked to know before joining the program?
• What have you enjoyed about your BBBS experience so far?
• What are some memories you have with your Little that you would like to share?
• What is something your Little has taught you?
• What have you found challenging about mentoring?

PARKING: Free parking is available on-site at the BBBS office.
