Looking for a space to relax, have fun, and just be you? Join us at our Teen Hangout — a laid-back space created just for teen matches to connect, kick back, and try something new!
In this Teen Hangout Edition, we’ll be exploring the University of Minnesota with a multicultural sorority, Sigma Psi Zeta! In this Teen Hangout Edition, we invite teens to join us at the University of Minnesota, with activities led by the Alpha Kappa Chapter of Sigma Psi Zeta! Sigma Psi Zeta is a progressive, multicultural Greek Organization that provides a means to success and support through the unity of strong and independent leaders to affect change on campus and local communities.
Join us on a scavenger hunt, a community service packing activity, and GOOD FOOD!!!!

Looking to explore the University of Minnesota as a future school? This is the perfect event to get a feel of the UMN campus and meet college students from various backgrounds! Come and ask questions about life after high school!
🗓️ What to Expect:
- 🎯 Small College Tour + Student Panel – Learn from different college students and their experiences at the University of Minnesota.
- ❤️ Community Packing – Volunteer with us by packing care packages to distribute at women’s and childen shelters.
- ✨ Craft Time – Make some kind messages and gifts to give back to our community members!
- 🔥 Connection Time – Meet new friends, share laughs, and enjoy community vibes.
- 🍕 Food + Music – Snacks, beats, and all the fun of a teen hangout!
REGISTRATION: Bigs and family members of the Littles are welcome to accompany the youth, but it’s not mandatory. Please register the total number of people attending during registration, so we have an accurate headcount for food.
FOOD: Dinner will be provided. Please note any dietary restrictions during registration.
Friendly Photo & Video Reminder: We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable at our events. If you or someone in your group would prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please just let a Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities staff member know.
Throughout the event, our team will be capturing special moments to share the amazing work we do together with Littles, their families, Bigs and our community—whether it’s through our publications, website, or social media, or with our donors, funders and community partners.
