Minneapolis Institute of Art – Human Connections

Join Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) for a creative evening focused on connection and community. We will start with a guided tour through Mia, exploring artworks that spark conversation about relationships and identity.

After the tour, matches will work together to create a community collage of what the Twin Cities mean and look like to them, coming together to build the Twin Cities skyline.

*We invite matches to bring a small memento, such as a photo, ticket, or other item they would like to add to the collage.*

Throughout the collage activity, prompts will be given to encourage conversation within each match and to spark conversations with other matches, too.

Come for the art, stay for the people, and help us piece together something meaningful!
