Fly Tying Class for Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities
Join us for a free, fun and hands-on Fly Tying Class hosted by River City Fly Fishing, designed especially for Big Brothers Big Sisters! This event will be hosted at the Big Brothers Big Sisters Office on Saturday, March 7th at 11:00AM. Lunch will be provided at this event.
Did you know?? All fishing flies are hand-tied! 🪶🪝
Littles ages 12 and up, and their Bigs, are invited to learn the art of creating their own fishing flies in a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment. This class is perfect for Littles who enjoy arts and crafts, or for those who have previously taken part in one of River City Fly Fishing’s Introduction to Fly Fishing programs.
All equipment and materials will be provided free of charge – just bring your curiosity and creativity. Matches will work side-by-side with experienced instructors as they learn new skills and take home the flies they craft. No experience necessary – just come ready to try something new!
This summer we’ll also be bringing you an instructional fly fishing event with River City Fly Fishing where attendees can test out the flies they make at this event and receive their own rod for free! 🎣
