Big Brothers Big Sisters Creates Puzzles for Potential
May 13, 2020 , Jennifer Severson
As the country continues to follow social distancing guidelines, Big Brothers Big Sisters is finding ways to keep kids connected by creating a unique Big Brothers Big Sisters puzzle for all ages to enjoy.
The mentoring organization pairs youth (called ‘Littles’) with caring adult mentors (called ‘Bigs’). Although Bigs and Littles can’t spend time together, they’re finding ways to stay in touch virtually.
In an effort to send our Littles some joy at this time, Big Brothers Big Sisters is collaborating with acclaimed artist Jeff Rogers to design and produce a custom 200-piece puzzle, with the theme ‘Together’. The puzzle is inspired by our mission to defend the potential in all youth through our one-to-one mentoring programs, and the strength of what individuals can accomplish when they work together.
Local sales of the puzzle will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities – make sure to include Twin Cities or your city/state on the order form.
For every puzzle purchased, one will be sent to the Little to enjoy with their families for free. Local sales of the puzzle will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities – make sure to include Twin Cities or your city/state on the order form.
“What a wonderful opportunity to let our Littles know we’re thinking of them,” said Pam Iorio, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. “And funds raised through the sale of the puzzle will also benefit our agencies, especially during these uncertain times. The dedicated Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members from across the country are not only supporting our Bigs and Littles, they are also helping families find resources they need.”
Each puzzle costs $35 and can be purchased here www.bbbs.org/puzzle.
